Senior Level Analyst for full time, direct support to the Director, Program Synchronization, Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Joint Program Office (JPO). Provides GMD JPO leadership awareness of key program developmental issues, integrated analysis, and recommended courses of action through oral, written, and briefing media.
Tasks include:
* Responsible for GMD JPO-level Program analysis and predictive forecasting; identifying Element interdependencies by leveraging GMD engagement in the BMDS Integration Synchronization Center (ISC).
* Investigates, analyzes, and reports effects of BMDS-level changes to GMD JPO Senior Leaders and PMs.
* Assist the GMD JPO PMs in the development, maintenance, and application of GMD Integrated Program Baselines. Focuses on interdependencies within and external to the GMD Program.
* Provide continuous situational awareness updates to the GMD Program Director, executive leadership team, PMs, and Functional Leads.
* Leverages application of the Defense Acquisition University PM Tool Kit to empower program leadership to better integrate GMD with BMDS.
* Executive level skills (outstanding ability to review, understand, discern core messages/issues, and distill them for presentation to Senior Leaders)
* Masters Degree (or higher) in appropriate discipline from an accredited university, in appropriate discipline, from an accredited university.
* DAWIA Level III Certification in Acquisition Management; Military System Acquisition Training (Defense Systems Management College/Defense Acquisition University; Certification verification required).
* Five + years of general experience with the military, civil service, or industry including direct support/close subordinate to executive leaders (general officer, SES, vice-president).
* Self-starter with an ability to work independently with little or no supervision to produce consistently exceptional work.
* Willing to take on range of tasks from direct support of GO/SES leaders to administrative tasks.
* High-level organizational skills -outstanding ability to organize large quantities of diverse data into concise and useful information.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high stress environment

* Ability to work with all types of people - superior interpersonal, social, practical and diplomatic skills.
* Ability to identify, analyze, assign, and follow through the completion of both direct and implied action items taken from meetings, conferences, and customer support related work.
* Advanced skills in MS Office Suite- Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Proficiency in oral and written communication skills to prepare and present information to executive level managers and to establish and maintain smooth working relationships with individuals and groups at various levels of authority and responsibility both within and outside of the organization.
* Current security clearance.
* Familiarity with MS Project .
* 3+ years DoD or Industry experience directly related to Missile Defense.
