The selected intern will provide support for BAE Systems Geospatial Products and Services Systems Engineering development team.  This Geospatial Systems Engineering (GSE) team focuses on the design, development and implementation of software applications and solutions with geospatial capabilities as the backbone.  Duties for this internship include supporting various projects and products for both our commercial and defense support areas.  The GSE team currently has a need for a motivated individual to help with developing and implementing the latest in GIS technologies.  We are seeking an individual that can support both Desktop and Server based ArcGIS products.  This individual will be responsible for supporting multiple projects with technical expertise, implementation approach and development of geoprocessing models.   



Nice to have Skills (or well teach you):

 Experience with developing Geoprocessing models

 Experience with Python Scripting

 Experience with Open Source GIS products

Need to Have Skills:

* ESRI ArcGIS 9.X Products

* ArcGIS Server

* ArcGIS Desktop

* ArcGIS Explorer

* Understanding of web-based data formats and use within the ESRI platform

* US Citizenship is required
