Aeronautical, Astronautical or Mechanical Engineer will support multi-disciplinary teams on a variety of problems involving systems and sensors for aircraft, spacecraft, missile systems, re-entering objects, and ground stations, from conceptual design through ground and flight testing, in support of lab programs. Activities will include thermal modeling and analysis; heat transfer calculations of systems, subsystems, and components for design trades and detailed designs that are driven by either convection or radiation; temperature distribution predictions for thermal-elastic evaluation; and test planning, execution, and documentation.
Required
8+ Years with BS or 6+ Years with MS or 3+ Years with PhD
Must be familiar with commercial thermal modeling and analysis codes such as PATRAN, ANSYS, SINDA/G, and THERMICA, as well as standard computer applications for documentation and presentations such as Microsoft Office. US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.
