This task will require the skills of an Senior Systems Security Architect (SSSA) to work with the PMO Team, and guide the separate and specific tasks towards a security architecture that will support the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) enterprise architectures and provide service oriented capabilities. The SSSA shall conceive of an overall security architecture, address interdependencies with the other 7 tasks and participate in all planning and task performance to assure successful implementation and integration.
 
They shall work with other organizations to coordinate with the high level architecture efforts. The SSSA shall initially perform an analysis and assessment of the current security posture of the tasks, ongoing and planned, and advise the Program Manager (PM) of findings; said findings shall be documented and briefed as appropriate.
 
The SSSA shall also produce a Security Architecture and Plan which integrates the results of the assessment, resultant architecture, and offers guidance on how to transition and implement the architecture.

  • White Papers, Studies, Analyses, and Briefings as directed
  • Weekly and Monthly Status Reports
Required Experience in the following areas:
  • Security
  • Network security
  • Network planning and operation
  • Network security assessments and evaluation
  • Information technology leadership, direction and management
  • Strong understanding of Cross Domain Solution technologies (to include security and functional requirements)
  • Experience with the DoD and Intelligence communities
  • Certification and Accreditation experience
