A lead research and development position focusing on the implementation advanced computer security technologies for information operations. Primary emphasis on the prototyping, experimentation, and analysis of critical aspects of information assurance technologies for host-, network- and LAN-wide information, C4I, and embedded systems. The successful candidate will play a critical lead role � developing and analyzing cyber attack and exploitation systems � as part of a high performance multi-disciplinary team that develops and integrates highly-automated distributed computer security systems. Essential expertise includes a broad range of advanced computer security technologies. In addition, this position may require: 1) participation in periodic and ad hoc meetings (internal and external), 2) formal presentations to customers and potential customers, and 3) participation in proposal activities.
Required Skills:
Masters Degree in CS, EE, Math or related experience. Strong Bachelors candidates will be considered. Very strong UNIX and Windows skills required. Should also have strong capabilities in at least three of the following: scripting (e.g. Bourne shell, Perl), device drivers, networking, system administration, embedded systems, computer systems architecture/ computer engineering, systems analysis and experimentation, operating systems, security technologies. Strong programming skills in C/C++ required. Advanced knowledge of operating systems, reverse engineering, computer architectures, vulnerability analysis, and security technologies highly desirable. Must also have strong communication skills and be able to excel in a technical lead role on a multi-disciplinary team.
