Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet network security requirements. Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.  Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. Uses encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research. Prepares security reports to regulatory agencies.

Required
Experienced with the technical operation, administration, and maintenance of Servers, Switches, Firewalls, Routers.
Familiar with IDS and IPS systems, familiar with Air Force IA software product operations.
6+ Years with HS or 3+ Years with AA or 0+ Years with BS.  Must meet DoD Dir 8570 Information Assurance Certification requirements.
Experienced with Air Force DIACAP processes and procedures.
