Program Manager/Capture Manager for an U.S. Army logistic-maintenance contract. Responsible for accomplishing work load IAW the contract. Complies with policy and procedures set forth by the company. Manages personnel for work accomplishment, pay issues, training, hiring and removal of personnel. Captures task orders from FIRST contract vehicle. Writes and coordinates for the proposal submission of logistic contracts over $50 million dollars. Develop and maintain a leadership climate that ensures (1) maximum employee engagement and commitment to customers and employees deliver outstanding performance, (2) improvements in management and organizational development and controls, (3) implementation of technologies, methods, and techniques resulting in positive impact on products, profits, and competitive posture. Represent BAE Systems to the local communities and customer bases.
20 years military/government civilian/contractor experience in maintenance and/or logistics. Knowledgeable of AMC and IMCOM logistics policy and procedures. In-depth knowledge of proposal submission and task orders management. Supervisor experience of at least 10 years. Ideal candidate will also have experience and knowledge of Fort Bragg installation logistics community with expertise in materiel maintenance; 3-5 years of experience in the XVIIIth Airborne Corps/82nd Airborne Division G4/or Fort Bragg installation DOL.
