Performs accounting, financial analysis, earned value management or cost estimating duties which requires a broad knowledge of accounting, financial, earned value management or cost estimating theory and practice. Records, classifies, examines, analyzes, and reports on data related to financial transactions to ensure current, accurate and complete financial information. Collects, summarizes, and analyzes financial/cost data for use in developing cost proposals, performance measurements, earned value management reporting and operational trends. 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Participates in the review of financial data for inclusion in indirect and forward pricing rate package submissions
Maintains documented records supporting cost proposals, contract reviews, forecasts or variance explanations.
May respond to financial questions and provide explanations to ensure management understanding.
Ensures compliance with internal procedures and DAR/FAR government regulations.
May interface with auditors and provide audit support to ensure understanding of financial data, methodology and applicability under appropriate regulations.
Acquires and maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant discipline(s), industry practices, trends, and applications.
Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
Shares responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor.
Minimum Education / Experience: Relevant Bachelor degree or equivalent + 0 years experience.
Preferred Education / Experience: Certain positions may require a specific degree and/or concentration. Prefer experience with relevant applications in a defense environment..
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Good planning, time management and organization skills.
Sound interpersonal skills used when interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with Company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
Ability to use computers to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
Ability to develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Certain positions may require specialized technical knowledge.
