Sr. HR Generalist
• 5 + years of Human Resources experience with one-year of recruitment experience preferred.
• Prefer extensive employee relations experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field.
• HR Certificate or specialized training in the HR field preferred
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedural manuals
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complicated information
• High attention to detail and high level of accuracy in daily work required
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of clients and the public, both one on one and in front of large audiences
• Ability to solve complex and practical problems and deal with a variety of variables within each problem.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Current knowledge of all employment related laws and practices
• Proficient planning, time management and decision making skills
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Must have the ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced changing business environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with People Soft or other HRIS system
Basic Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1. A relatively high level of analytical ability is required to resolve moderately difficult human resources issues and assist in the development of policies, procedures, and programs.
2. A high level of communication skill is required to explain policies, participate in departmental task forces and hold meaningful discussions with employees and managers.
3. A high level of independent thinking and decision making ability required.
