Provide enterprise-wide management for the execution and continuous improvement of specific supplier partnerships. Individual will act as the central management point for supplier activities across BAE sites, working with business area teams to ensure that our strategies and operational improvement initiatives are effectively implemented. This position could be based in Nashua, NH, Greenlawn, NY, Wayne, NJ or Austin, TX. The NH site is preferred.
- The overall management and coordination of a suppliers partners performance and continuous improvement for all locations
- Pricing and proper administration of all items managed under the partnership agreement
- Develop, implement and track annual improvement plans
- Working with site level management understands supplier performance levels across all location and consolidates for enterprise level actions and reviews.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal team members, internal customers and programs across several geographically dispersed sites.
- Maintain partnership scorecards and metrics across the enterprise
- Coordinate standardization and best practices development / sharing across all locations
- Track and when required assist in the resolution of site level issues
BA or BS in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering.
Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management practices and techniques.
4+ years of experience including a leadership role in Supply Chain, Commodity or Procurement management with demonstrated results including;
- Strong Project management experience
- Ability to manage in a geographical diverse and matrixed organization
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of an organization
- Supply Chain / Sourcing / Lean background
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP a plus
- Working knowledge of A&D/Government contracting a plus
CPM, APICS or equivalent certification and experience with electronics preferred.
