Junior Analyst for Integration Team for the Joint Training Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) Operations Integration Center (JTCOIC) at National Training Center (NTC), Fort Irwin, California. 

Synopsis: The overall goal of the JTCOIC is to provide expertise and training to Army units deploying to theater on efficient and effective utilization of the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) Counter-IED Operations Integration Center (COIC). In addition, the JTCOIC is to institutionalize lessons learned related to CIED operations into the Army's institutional training base. The JTCOIC is responsible for coordinating the training of deploying units on joint, national and interagency intelligence, CIED and emerging asymmetric capabilities gleaned from the JIEDDO COIC; integrating processes, practices, concepts and materiel capabilities into Army DOTMLPF solutions; and coordinating with the training centers to provide realistic enemy and environmental signatures into models and simulations in support of realistic intelligence collection and analysis. Duty is at Fort Irwin, CA.

Basic Functions:

This individual will serve as a Joint Training Counter IED Operations Integration Center (JTCOIC) Analyst at the National Training Center (NTC), Fort Irwin, California. Position will be contracted from the JTraining Counter- Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Operational Integration Center (JTCOIC), but workspace will be provided within NTC Operations Group Plans Division. Report to JTCOIC Integration Team Lead in exercising overall responsibilities. Spends majority of time working with Operations Group Plans Division to plan and execute COIC Integration training at NTC. Overall work is evaluated in terms of the comprehensiveness and adequacy of training provided to deploying brigade battle staffs to effectively employ counter-IED solutions, assist deployed forces in development and analysis of counter-IED operations, and assist in identifying and addressing counter-IED capability gaps. This position will provide the products and execution management needed to fully integrate these COIC capabilities into unit pre-deployment training rotations at NTC.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and implement rotational unit training provided to deploying brigade battle staffs to effectively employ counter-IED solutions, assist deployed forces in analysis of counter-IED operations, and proactively assist in identifying and addressing counter-IED capability gaps.
Interface with the senior analyst on all Observer-Controller teams regarding COIC capabilities, training of the teams, development of rotation scripts, execution of scripts during rotations, pre-rotational briefings, and after-action meetings and reports.
Provide COIC capability briefings to units upon arrival at NTC, as needed.
During each NTC rotation, develop scripting for IED networks, develop various types of intelligence injects to execute these scripts, work within the Division Tactical Operations Center (DTOC) to oversee proper execution of these scripts, develop COIC products for the rotational unit in response to unit requests for information, and develop storyboards and lessons learned for use during various after-action reviews.
Attend various meetings and conferences at COIC, JTCOIC and other sites to maintain awareness of current theater issues and capabilities.
Current TS/SCI 
Former military intelligence analyst with training/operational experience�preferably ground combat experience within the past five years. Recent experience in military operational planning desired.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred
