BAE Systems has an immediate need for this FUNDED position which could be a 2-year employment opportunity (base year plus one option year).
The ideal candidate is a former missileer with HQ experience and experience with reports, analysis, and briefings.

The individual supporting this task must have the qualifications and be able to support the following:
- The contractor shall assist the A3TV branch in developing a plan to support AFGSC operational STAN/EVAL requirements.
- Conduct evaluation functions to assist in the overall management and oversight of AFGSC STAN/EVAL program and establish responsibility for implementation of the program as outlined in requisite instructions for active duty, ANG and AFRC units.
- Provide staff coordination on matters relating to STAN/EVAL program. Coordinate and provide advice on guidance to appropriate Inspector General (IG) office(s) as required.
- Develop, coordinate, review, update and distribute AFGSC Master Question Files as required. Provide assistance to establish and manage AFGSC Flight Crew Information File (FCIF) and AFGSC Special Interest Items (SIIs).
- Assist with the maintenance of B-2, B-52, UH-1N/CVLSP, and ICBM flight manuals and attend Flight Manual Review Conferences as required.
- Assist with the development, coordination and publishing MDS STAN/EVAL policy. Provide expertise for B-2, B-52, UH-1N/CVLSP, and ICBM procedures and technical orders.
- Assist with the confirmation of Weapons System Testing & Certification Programs in place with guidance conveyed to applicable units.
- Assist with the determination of the fiscal year (FY) Trained Personnel Requirements (TPR) for formal AETC training courses and submit recommendations for requirements to HQ AFPC and AFGSC/A1.
- Assist with the management of TPR training allocations for AFGSC¿s officer operations training.
- Provide assistance with configuration management oversight for all Training Devices (TD). Perform annual Simulator/Procedural Certifications on TDs to ensure off-line trainers replicate the operational environment.
- Provide expertise to AFGSC rated personnel to Accident Investigation Board/Safety Investigation Board/Mishap Review Boards as required.
- Provide assistance with the oversight of Numbered Air Force (NAF) evaluation teams.
- Provide SAV and formal visit assistance as required. Assist with the development, evaluation, distribution and standardization of nuclear and conventional operational procedures. Augment AFGSC IG team as required.
- Assist with the establishment of policy and guidance for crew force management, and operations training programs across all mission areas. Provide assistance with the Training Planning Teams (TPT) for all operational systems. Conduct analysis and reviews to ensure operations training requirements are provided to the TPT for inclusion in the applicable System Training Plan. Assist with the establishment of policy, basic requirements and guidance for development and maintenance of operations technical data. Assist the functional manager for AFGSC assigned bomber/helicopter aircrew, and missile operator deployment taskings. Draft and develop plans in coordination with other MAJCOMs to support AFGSC training requirements based on unit¿s Desired Operations Capabilities (DOC) statements. Review and update DOC statements for AFGSC units annually. Draft Job Performance Requirements (JPR) and training requirements. Participate in and provide assistance to assigned forces for joint, mission and/or functional area-oriented (e.g., Homeland Defense, Combat Air Forces (CAF), Mobility Air Forces (MAF), Special Operations Forces (SOF), Joint Forces Air Combat Commander (JFACC), Joint Task Force (JTF), etc.) exercises. Assist with exercise oversight to ensure latest tactics and mission sets are being correctly trained. Assist with the transfer of FAM UTC responsibilities to Forward Operating Agencies (FOAs), as applicable. Assist with the development, maintenance and management responsibilities for mission specific (as applicable) UTCs. Assist the MAJCOM FAM in the fulfillment of mission responsibilities described in AFI 10-401, Air Force Operations Planning and Execution. Ensure assigned forces are trained and equipped to accomplish Homeland Defense and Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) missions. Evaluate B-52/B-2 STAN/EVAL policies, instructions, and flight manuals and provide recommendations and rewrites as necessary for GSC operations. Evaluate MAJCOM FCIF, SIIs, and recommend updates, rewrites and transition to GSC operations. Identify, draft, coordinate, maintain and develop applicable CJCS, AF, MAJCOM, NAF, AFGSC and wing instructions, manuals and supplements.
