PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support outreach programs to customers and provide back-up to business development managers.
2. Support of trade shows and conferences.
3. Track work performed; contribute to improved processes and procedures.
4. Support and potentially lead multiple product development teams through the LCM process from opportunity development to project mobilization.
5. Support and potentially lead various business management projects to capture and manage AM customer contracts.
6. Identification of customer requirements early in the development cycle and positioning the company in a most competitive position based on relationships with program leads.
7. Identify opportunities and coordinate capture efforts across AM to secure new business within assigned segments.
8. Lead in the scheduling, tracking and completion of capture/proposal activities for assigned segments.
9. Transitioning requirements into product development organization effectively.
10. Thorough knowledge of both current and future products as well as manufacturing capabilities.
11. Establishment of annual strategic plan and execution of same plan.
12. Identification and promotion of new technologies affecting AM core products and business.
13. Submittal of weekly status reports.
14. Responsible for being the face of the company to the customer.
15. Participate and/or lead proposals writing efforts.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. BS or BA Degree preferred.
2. Prior military/government service a plus, U.S. Army or security agency is preferred.
3. Prior direct product experience is preferred.
BASIC SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Interpersonal skills with experience in customer relations
2. Government Security Clearance (or ability to obtain) required
3. Able to handle multiple assignments under extreme time constraints and high stress conditions
4. Ability to work effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines and communicate with all workforce levels
5. Must have strong work ethic, sense of urgency and a high energy level
6. Self-starter: bias for action, results oriented
7. Strong Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications
8. Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends to meet business needs
9. Ability to work with a diversified workforce
10. Solid written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
11. Must have effective team leadership skills with the ability to interface with a wide range of personnel at all levels
12. Domestic and international travel is required up to 25% to 50% of work time.
13. Knowledge of the DoD acquisitions process, government agencies and military organizations desired.
14. Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), decision making and employee relations skills
