Candidates shall provide System Security Engineering (SSE) services for a DoD agnecy. This includes systems which comprise the Enterprise Security System (ESS) and the Agency's administrative networks (Unclassified Data Network - UDN and Classified Data Network - CDN). Support is needed to: ? Define, document, and implement a Systems Security Engineering (SSE) program in accordance with ISO/IEC 21827(SSE-CMM) ? Conduct reviews of security requirements, designs, and engineering solutions to ensure they meet minimum SSE requirements/controls ? Ensure configuration changes to baseline security controls are recorded throughout system/application lifecycle ? Coordinate with and provide support to other IA branches (e.g. Risk Assessment, Computer Network Defense, Testing, etc)
Required 21+ Years with HS or 17+ Years with AA or 15+ Years with BS or 13+ Years with MS or 10+ Years with PhD Functional: - Proficient in Certification and Accreditation Processes - Proficient in the DIACAP Process. - Knowledge of NIST Risk Assessment process - Knowledge of FISMA. - Knowledge of Network Topologies. - Previous experience as a security systems engineer. The candidate should possess good organization skills with the ability to exercise discretion and ingenuity to determine the proper course of action while following established standards. The candidate should be innovative, with resourcefulness and a strong drive for results. The candidate must possess and demonstrate good written and verbal skills. The candidate should have the ability to be focused, work in a demanding environment, and under tight deadlines while producing quality product. The candidate should demonstrate a very high level of communication and leadership skills to support and interact with internal and external team members as well as for presentations to senior management and customers.
