Reporting to the Vice President of Legal Affairs – Western Division, the Senior Attorney will, effectively, be the General Counsel for several of our business units located in Nevada.  This person will provide legal support for all areas of each business operation including finance, sales, marketing, hotel and food and beverage.  The Senior Corporate Counsel is a tremendous opportunity for a mid level associate to receive direct hands on training, but maintain substantial autonomy as the individual moves toward working with minimal supervision.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with executive management at each of the operating units.
  • Reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing a wide variety of contractual agreements to close a wide variety of transactions;
  • Work with internal and external representatives. 
  • Provide advice and counsel regarding the drafting of promotional rules and handling various issues involving regulatory matters at a state and local level.
  • The Senior Corporate Counsel must hold a Juris Doctorate and have strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Must possess 3-6 years of major law firm and/or applicable in house experience;
  • Strong general corporate and commercial practice;
  • Excellent drafting and negotiating skills;
  • Ability to work quickly on and prioritize a wide variety of projects;
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well with personnel at all levels of the company.
  • This position requires a team player who can work in a fast-moving environment with tight deadlines, and multiple demands constantly shifting needs of very busy business units.
