LOB Business Conduct Director is responsible for implementing and leading the LOB ethics and business conduct program. Working with the LOB Leadership team the incumbent will support the development and maintenance of an organizational culture in which integrity, honesty and compliance with the letter and spirit of applicable legal and regulatory requirements is a guiding principle at all levels of the LoB. The incumbent will partner with other functions to ensure that the LOB business objectives including M&A activity are achieved without compromising the commitment to act in accordance with BAE Systems� Global Code of Conduct and its core ethical principles. The incumbent will interface with employees, managers, and leaders at all levels of the LOB as well as other BAE Systems, Inc. employees.
Required
Bachelor's degree required.
Key responsibilities include:

�Ensure coordination of the LOB ethics and business conduct program with Deputy General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer for the OG.

- Manage effective ethics and compliance program within the LOB 

- Propose, implement and monitor policies and procedures for the prevention and detection of violations of laws, regulations and company standards.

�Select, train and provide direction to the Local Business Conduct Officers.

� Proactively educate and align employees on ethics- and compliance-related matters such that awareness and compliance becomes rooted in the corporate culture.

� As required, respond to  calls and concerns from the Employee Helpline.

� Establish sound working relationships with senior leadership and operations and commercial leaders within the LOB.

� Provide counsel to LOB president and managers about compliance and business ethics issues, proactively engage with their teams, and participate in significant decisions a
