This position of Electrical Power Engineer requires a successful candidate be fully eligible to obtain a high level DoD security clearance. The incumbent will review site plans and construction documents, conduct site surveys, and prepare professional level engineering studies and reports. Primary efforts will be in the areas of power distribution, power generation, power system stability, protective relaying, lighting and lighting control systems, grounding, and the evaluation of lightning protection systems. The successful candidate will be required to participate in design review meetings and deliver presentations.

Additionally, the successful candidate must have the following: - Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering - Professional Engineer License - Academic study specifically in the fields of power system stability and power system transients - Eligibility to obtain a high level DoD Security Clearance - Minimum of ten (10) years of experience directly related to the job as described above - Design experience including medium and low voltage power distribution systems, standby power generation systems, protective relaying, lighting and lighting control systems, lightning protection, and grounding systems. A familiarity with NFPA 70 and NFPA 780 is required - Thorough understanding of standard A/E design documents including drawings and specifications. - Ability to organize complex tasks and to lead others in the execution of the related work - Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare technical documents for submittal to Customers Preferences include the following: - Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering - Experience with MILCON programs - Experience in the preparation and delivery of technical Power Point presentations
