As a Clinical & Compliance Specialist , you will:
• Evaluate office management of human resources and adherence to company policies through interview and personnel record review.
• Perform clinical record reviews to ensure that the clinical documentation provides evidence of compliance with coverage requirements, physician’s orders, care delivery standards, company policy, regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Accompany clinical associates on home visits to observe their performance, relationship with their patients, and delivery of care according to standards of practice, the plan of care and company policy.
• Keep abreast of all company policies/procedures; local/state/federal laws/regulations and accreditation standards and serves as a resource to local offices in these areas.
• Communicate with Corporate Compliance and Clinical departments any reportable findings or issues identified during the audit that would potentially put the Company or patient care at risk.
• Communicate and inform location leadership and upline management of audit findings and corrective action plan process.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Physical Therapy or allied professional discipline
• A minimum of six years clinical experience in area of specialty
• A minimum of two years experience in clinical management and operations
• Current licensure required per professional discipline
