Our most successful associates will:
• Have a passion for pets and for people
• Be a collaborative team-player, outgoing, friendly and genuinely helpful
• Have a minimum of one year experience in grooming under the leadership of a
professional groomer, and must personally complete a personal skill evaluation
by a PETCO Stylist or Grooming Salon Manager
• Have a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) and be able to move animals
and merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
• Enjoy learning about the many products we carry
• Enjoy proactively and enthusiastically educating our customers about our
products and services, helping them feel confident that they are providing the
best care to their pets
