Design and maintain customer web site and ensure that it is visually effective, accessible and easy to use.  Create web page layout, graphics, color schemes and infrastructure to maintain a cohesive website

Manage the design and implementation process by liaising closely with the customer or client to answer questions such as: why is the site needed, who is the target audience and what the content shoud be. Advise the client on the categories and information needed to construct the site as well as security and system limitations. 

Test the web site for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions.  Upload the website to the appropriate network.

Maintain the content of the site and make appropriate changes as needed.

Make changes to current cataloging system web front end to customize look and feel for customer use.  

Work with software engineers to develop and host any proposed web based technology solutions.

Ability to create/edit utilizing several programming languages to design web pages. Ability to create dynamic pages utilizing database integration
