We are looking for a Groomer/Pet Stylist to perform the following duties:

· Perform basic grooming services including brushing, bathing, and conditioning
of animals
· Follow owner's instructions or Breed Standards when clipping, stripping or
trimming an animals' coat
· Generate business by: utilizing periods of time when not grooming pets to
write and send reminder cards to customers who have not been in for grooming
services for more than three months

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must demonstrate knowledge of the grooming industry

Have at least one year's experience in grooming under the leadership of a
professional Groomer, or have received formal instruction from a reputable
grooming school

Must successfully complete a personal skill evaluation by a PETCO Stylist or
Grooming Salon Manager

A high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) is preferred

Able to move animals and merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
