Job Purpose:
The key purpose of this position is to perform independent analytical research to identify and resolve data issues impacting NCCI's data providers and NCCI products and services.
Major Duties:
Identify and/or resolve customer data issues and assist data providers in the resolution of these issues.
Testing and systems support including researching issues to determine if NCCI systems are contributing to the root cause - includes creation of test plans
Preparation of requirements to address systems changes or system monitoring
Process review and improvement
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
2 years in an analytical role – preferably in a service-oriented and/or insurance related enterprise
Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
Adept at using NCCI's data reporting tools needed to perform role and providing training and assistance to customers to use these tools to meet their data reporting obligations, preferred
Experience with mainframe applications such as TSO to research data submissions
Knowledge of NCCI data (Policy, Units, Financial Data, POC, DCI, URC, NP4/X, Voluntary) as required by the role, preferred
Experience in an inbound or outbound customer support environment owning a variety of process and or system inquiries simultaneously
Outbound call experience (making proactive calls to customers to help them understand or correct data)
Proficient computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to understand customer data reporting concerns and determine the root cause of all issues - even when the issue is something other than what the customer has described
