SPIRITT Sensor Planning / Sensor Exploitation Principal Field Engineer located at Langley AFB, VA for an initial period of 180 days or as directed by the Program Manager. The Sensor Planner / Sensor Exploitation Engineer will provide Software Tools and Network support for the SPIRITT Program and assist in mission data collection and analysis. Primary duties and responsibilities include acting as the BAE Systems on-site representative to support Mission CONOPS, systems data cataloging and analysis. Sensor Mission Planner should have significant experience and knowledge utilizing USAF Mission Planning tools to include Falconview, PFPS and Image Analysis. Sensor Mission Planner may be required to analyze software, hardware, and system malfunctions, and implement corrective actions. Prepare mission reports; data collection and post mission download/analysis as required. Strong Network background and Personal Computer (PC), Solaris (Unix) systems knowledge, will be required. Experience working in a military operational work environment highly desirable.
Active/Current Top Secret security clearance required and a verifiable SCI investigation complete within the last 5 years highly desirable.
Required Education:
Bachelors and 8+ year(s) related experience
Required Experience:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Technology, Engineering or a related major or equivalent experience.
Required Skills:
BS Degree or 12-16 years of Optical, Sensor, Imagery or RF Expertise / Background / Knowledge. Active Top Secret Security Clearance and verifiable SCI Investigation w/in 5 years. Mission Planning Background utilizing Falconview, PFPS, Imagery. USAF Operational Mission Planning Support and CONOPS knowledge. Experienced in Sensor Network Applications and S/W systems integration. Current Sensor Software Tools Experience and knowledge. Flexible Travel-Willing and Qualified to Deploy in support of Program CONUS Requirements. Customer Oriented, Articulate Communicator, Self Starter; Team Leader; Independent thinker. Current US Passport or qualified to obtain passport.
