The University Hospitals Cancer Center consistently ranks among the top 25 cancer hospitals in the U.S., holding the National Cancer Institute’s highest distinction as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. With that in mind, UH is investing in the future of cancer treatment and research by building a new, free-standing cancer hospital to bring all facets of cancer care under one roof. The new Cancer Hospital, equipped with 120 inpatient beds (+ shelled 30 bed unit), will combine the best technologies, the most effective protocols and the latest findings for cancer care in one 375,000-square-foot, free-standing facility.

Regulates own work flow to assure food ? Freshness, Quality, Quantity, Temperature, Minimize Waste
Responsible for safe handling of all food
Works in an environment that is sanitary and clean
Inventories and orders products efficiently
Baking skills and knowledge

Position Requirements:

Prefer some cooking background and basic food preparation knowledge. Functions as a team member Subject to excessive heat, cold and noise. Is required to use food processor, hand tools, can openers, scales, measuring cups and spoons. Standing most of the day. Operate and Maintain equipment. Excellent customer service skills. Adjust recipes by expanding or reducing.

Education Requirements:

Culinary Education preferred High school diploma or equivalent Read, write legibly, math, measure ingredients

License Requirements:

Food Safety Training with in first 60 days in position.
