Programmer/Analyst

Programmer Analyst will provide full life cycle development support, as defined by the USPTO System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 4.0, to address the requirements identified. Provide requirements clarification support; translating the system requirements to testable technical requirements; and designing, coding, testing, and implementing all technical requirements derived from the Requirements Specification.
Required Experience and Education:

8+ Years with HS or 5+ Years with AA or 2+ Years with BS


Required Skills:

- Experience in analyzing, developing, deploying, maintaining and enhancing software systems. 
- Experience in several of the following: Java development, SQL*Net, C, PL/SQL, MS-DOS, HTML, JSP, J2EE framework, Cool:Gen/Java, XSL, ODBC, Open Source, UNIX and Celerra , IBM Websphere, IBM Portal, UMLUnix server, iPlanet Webserver, JBOSS application and Web server, TCP/IP, Rational Application Developer, the suite of WebSphere Studio, Oracle databases, EJB, HP-UX, AIX, MS Project , MS Office suites, and Windows 7 client workstations.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in Agile Development. 
- Experience in the following Standard hardware and operating systems: HP/UX, IBM/AIX, Microsoft operating systems, VMware servers, EMC and Network Appliances storage devices, and Nortel Gig-E networking systems. 
- Experience in the following Quality management tools: Clear Case, Clear Quest, Requisite Pro and other supporting Rational tool suite.
