Position Summary

IES Residential, Inc. is looking to hire a FOREMAN to run a MULTI FAMILY job based in Midland, Texas. 

•  Plans new or modified installations to effectively and efficiently construct or repair wiring, fixture, or equipment consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.  
•  Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers.  
•  Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
•  Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
•  Establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.  
•  May study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job.  
•  Analyzes and resolves work problems.  
•  Plans future work.
•  Maintain time records.  

Ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years experience as a Foreman running MULTI FAMILY jobs.

 

 RESIDENTIAL and MULTI FAMILY experience a must!

  • FIELD/MULTI FAMILY/RESIDENTIAL experience is a must!
  • At least 5 years experience running jobs and managing personnel
  • MVR (motor vehicle record) will be checked
  • Must be able to pass our background check requirements.

• Work within acceptable construction standards.
• Repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
• Learn and demonstrate working knowledge of electrical tools, equipment and materials.
• Learn new tasks quickly and follow specific directions, and demonstrate initiative.
• Acquire, purchase and maintain personal hand tools as directed.
• Constantly demonstrate safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Meet the attendance and schedule requirements of the project, including working overtime when required
• Work with others in a professional and safe manner.
• Adhere to acceptable construction industry standards.
• Comply with all drug testing, safety training and background check requirements.
• Identify basic electrical items, tools and understand basic electrical terminology.
